Three Dead, Two Critical After Apparent Murder, Attempted Suicide In Maryland: Police

An investigation has been launched in Howard County after an apparent murder and attempted suicide that left three women dead and two dead.

Officers were called at approximately 10 p.m. on Thursday night to the 6900 block of Norwood Ferry, when neighbors reported hearing gunshots.

According to a spokesperson from the Howard County Police Department, inside the home, they found three women dead, two men with critical injuries, and a minor who was unharmed.

The men - one of whom is believed to be the shooter - were taken to area hospitals with what police described as life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say that detectives believe all those involved are related. More information is expected to be released.
